E-district is a State Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan.The project aims to target high volume services currently not covered by any MMP under NeGP
and undertake backend computerization to e-enable the
delivery of these services through Common Service Centers.
e-District has been envisaged by Government of India as
automation
of
workflow and internal processes of District
administration
processes of District Administration with the possibility
of seamless integration
of various services covered under the project like
Certificates, Grievances Right to
Information, Ration Card, Pension, Dues and
Recoveries, Revenue Court and
Employment services.
JAN SUVIDHA KENDRA
In Uttar Pradesh The e-district project is implemented in 6 districts Gautambudh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Sitapur, Rae Bareli and Sultanpur. The Govt. has established a JAN SUVIDHA KENDRA in each of the district for providing integrated citizen centric services in the district. For rural masses, it is decided to open the JAN SUVIDHA KENDRA (CSC) on every 6 villages in each of the district.Apart from the above services can be obtained from the Tehsil HQ of
any of these six district..
